The Railroad Museum

Everyone remembers those trips as we were little (and had seen so little) outside of our own little corner/street/Court…of things larger than yourself. Of huge monoliths of industry and transport. Of the triumph of human engineering over complicated economic and physical challenges.

And now it’s a part of history.

Although the tracks still exist that theses beasts used to roam on throughout this great country- our history and understanding of fast train transport is about to change. Right here in the 4th largest economy in the world! Here’s to hoping for high speed rail.

Bullet trains in Japan started so long ago we are behind the curve in every measure of tracks and mileage and progression. But that’s all something I’ve learned from going elsewhere. Education starts at home go see this great place with your kids or on a date night!
